Frank Wagner, Ph.D. Bio
FRANK WAGNER, Ph.D., Managing Director, has 25 years of experience in strategic action consulting and senior executive coaching. He specializes in helping leaders accelerate Execution and develop their capacity to achieve Excellence In Execution Leadership.
Since 2001, Frank has collaborated with Leland Russell in developing Leadership In FastTime® applications. He has also developed other successful strategic leadership programs, including the highly rated "Excellent Manager" Program at IBM, which became a benchmark in the leadership development field and subsequently taught in many other premier organizations
Frank is the author of "The DNA of Teams" and "Informal Influence: Influencing Without Authority" and the principle author of “The Coach’s Playbook,” “The Leader as Coach Playbook” and “The Leader’s Guide to Encouraging Development.”
Frank has served a wide range of clients, including Apple, Agilent Technologies, Computer, Citibank, Coca-Cola, Deloitte & Touche, Dun & Bradstreet, the FBI, General Foods, IBM; Lawrence Livermore & Sandia National Laboratories, Reebok International, Sequent Computer (now part of IBM), Tektronix, Warner Lambert, UCLA Technical Management Program, and IDS Financial Services (after acquisition by American Express). When working with IDS American Express, he was nicknamed “The Federal Express of Feedback” for assisting the senior executives in rapidly teaching leadership throughout IDS.
Frank’s consulting career began at The Center For Leadership Studies with Paul Hersey, creator of the Situational Leadership model. He was the first individual to be certified in this model, which is now been taught to millions worldwide each year.
Frank has a Ph.D. and an MBA from The Anderson School of Management, UCLA where he also served as a Post Doctoral Scholar. His undergraduate degree is in Economics from Santa Clara University.
